Michelin-Recognised Restaurants in Toronto

Toronto got its own Michelin Guide in 2022, the fourth city in North America to be covered. The list is small on purpose, and it skews toward the top of the price range — almost every recognised room here sits at $$$$.

Which Toronto restaurants have Michelin recognition?

Toronto's Michelin-recognised restaurants include Sushi Masaki Saito, Alo, Edulis, Quetzal, DaNico, Don Alfonso 1890, Restaurant 20 Victoria and Enigma Yorkville, alongside Kappo Sato and Veloute at Palace Pier. Most are downtown or in Yorkville, and nearly all take reservations well in advance.

Ranked by Google rating across the Michelin-recognised spots tracked in the mytoronto.city app. Permanently closed rooms are excluded, and "recognised" covers starred, Bib Gourmand and recommended entries alike.

Booking one of these is its own project — most release tables a month out and fill the same day. If you're after the same cooking for less, several of these kitchens run a bar menu or a lunch service at a fraction of the tasting-menu price.
