Toronto 1.2 is out, and it's our biggest update so far. Most of the new features help you get around Toronto: you can now plan a trip across the TTC and GO Transit, and track when the next vehicle arrives without opening the app.
Search for any address and the app will give you transit directions to it. Routes can combine the TTC subway, buses and streetcars with GO Transit, so a trip that starts outside the city and ends downtown comes back as one plan, with the walking and transfers included.

The new TTC Arrivals widget shows when the next vehicle is coming. Pick a route and a stop when you add the widget, and you can check it at a glance before you leave the house.
Toronto app now works with Siri and Spotlight. Say "My Toronto restaurants" or "My Toronto transit" and the app opens what's near you. You can also type a category into Spotlight search to jump straight to it in the app.
You can now hide dashboard cards you don't use and reorder the rest, so the dashboard can be more useful for every user.
City events now have a venue filter. If you like what's on at a particular place, choose it and you'll see only the events happening there.
Tourist guide mode adds visitor tips across the app, covering things like riding the subway. In 1.2, those tips have better, more up-to-date information for people visiting Toronto.
